“Financial Epidemic Affecting Fitness Pros Worldwide!”
I have something to tell you.
It may be a little shocking to you, but I’d rather you hear it from me than someone else.
I’m sad to say that I’ve been seeing more and more cases of this illness in Fitness Professionals everywhere I turn.
Yes, that’s right; many of your comrades are suffering from Entrepreneur’s Disease.
I know, I know. It hurts to admit it, but it’s true.
What exactly is this terrible condition and how do you know if you suffer from it?
Well, it’s simple really.
The main symptom is a clear lack of focus and crystal clear vision for one’s fitness business.
It would be the business equivalent of running around like a chicken with your head cut off.
Ask yourself these questions:
- Have I ever come up with what seemed like a brilliant idea and chucked everything else I was working on out the window only to come up with another brilliant idea the next day and then repeated the “chucking” process?
- Have I got several lengthy “to-do” lists that I know full well I’ll never get to?
- Do I routinely change the focus of my business so that I myself don’t even know who my target market is anymore?
- Have I started what seem to be a million different projects and gotten MAYBE a handful of them actually completed? And of those how many made me any significant amounts of money?
- Do I have a clear objective of what I want my business to look like?
How much I want to earn from it? What I want it to sell? How much I actually want to work in it? How often I would like to be able to take a vacation without worrying about it?
- Have I really come to grips with the fact the reason to start a business is to sell a business? Do I have an exit strategy? Do I know what my business is going to look like in one year? Five? Ten?
- Do I really want to keep wandering aimlessly like this? Do I really want to continue to guess and hope I’m doing the right things?
I think you can see my point, right?
It’s pretty darn easy to diagnose yourself as having a case of serious Entrepreneur’s Disease.
Essentially, it’s owning a business that has no clear focus, no plan, and no direction.
And yes, this disease is fatal!
You might walk away ok, but if you don’t find a cure your business will die. You know it and I know it.
The buzz in the air of Fitness Pros nowadays is taking action.
Yes, taking action is critical. It’s how you gain momentum and get things started in the right direction.
But it’s not enough.
In reality, what you really need is to take LASER FOCUSED ACTION!
So what’s the cure?
Pretty simple really.
Answer all the questions above honestly and then set about correcting your course.
Unless, that is, you truly enjoy making things hard on yourself.
Who loves ya?
Yours in prosperity,
Jim Labadie

“4 Outrageously Powerful Fitness Sales Questions”
Let me first make something perfectly clear: You can’t just ask these questions to someone you just met.
They have to like you.
They have to trust you.
If you haven’t bonded with your prospect yet then don’t even think about asking these questions.
But when you’ve made a connection with them…
When they are feeling comfortable with you…
That is when these questions bring out the emotion that closes sales.
Emotion is what gets people to shut up and stop making excuses. It gets them to become your client and start on the road to a happier and healthier life.
1- When did you make a conscious decision to live your life so unhappy?
2- I don’t understand, you’d rather buy new clothes in a bigger size than hire a trainer and have to get a new wardrobe in a smaller size?
3- Let me get this straight, you don’t have time to workout but you do have the time to watch 4 hours of TV every night?
4- You really don’t want to change do you? Seems to me you’re perfectly content being unhappy.
It takes courage to ask these questions. But it also takes courage for a deconditioned person to stand-up for themselves and make a lifestyle change.
Doesn’t it?
If you don’t have any courage then why the h*ll would a prospect want to hire you anyway?
Who loves ya?
Yours in prosperity,
Jim Labadie

PS- What does Alwyn Cosgrove think about the Ultimate Sales Kit for Fitness Pros?
“It’s quite possible I’ve got more qualifications than anyone else in my field. Seriously, I’ve got more letters after my name than I have in my name! However, I’m going to let you in on the horrible truth…there is no relationship between being technically good or skilled at what you do and getting paid.
Jim Labadie is THE MASTER and he has solved that problem. The Ultimate Sales Kit for Fitness Professionals is almost as good as having Jim as your own personal sales staff. Within days of listening to the CD’s you’ll have, at the least, doubled your investment.
BOTTOM LINE: If you don’t have this kit in your arsenal, you better pray your competition doesn’t. It’s that powerful.”

Seven Spiritual Laws of Success - From author Deepak Chopra
1. The Law of Pure Potentiality [You Can Have it all]The source of all creation is pure consciousness… pure potentiality seeking expression from the unmanifest to the manifest. When we realize that our true self is one of pure potentiality, we align with the power that manifests everything in the universe.
2. The Law of Giving The universe operates through dynamic exchange…. giving and receiving are different aspects of the flow of energy in the universe. And in our willingness to give that which we seek, we keep the abundance of the universe circulating in our lives.
3. The Law of Cause and EffectEvery action generates a force of energy that returns to us in like kind…. what we sow is what we reap. And when we choose actions that bring happiness and success to others, the fruit of our action is happiness and success.
4. The Law of Least Effort [Law of Attraction]Nature’s intelligence functions with effortless ease…. with care-freeness, harmony, and love. When we harness the forces of harmony, joy, and love, we create success and good fortune with effortless ease.
5. The Law of Intention and Desire [Law of Attraction]Inherent in every intention and desire is the mechanics for its fulfillment… intention and desire in the field of pure potentiality have infinite power. When we introduce an intention in the fertile ground of pure potentiality, we put this infinite organizing power to work for us.
6. The Law of Detachment [Spiritual Healing]In detachment lies the wisdom of uncertainty….. in the wisdom of uncertainty lies the freedom from our past, from the known, which is the prison of past conditioning. in our willingness to step into the unknown, the field of all possibilities, we surrender ourselves to the creative mind that orchestrates the dance of the universe.
7. The Law of Purpose in Life [Work Life Balance]Everyone has a purpose in life… a unique gift or special talent to give to others. When we blend this unique talent with service to others, we experience the ecstasy and exultation of our own spirit, which is the ultimate goal of all goals.
Words to live by.

I’m going digital!
January 24, 2007 by jim · Leave a Comment
*You want to read this whole post, trust me
Once upon a time, I had a consultation with one of my Ultimate Sales Kit customers.
One of the things we spoke about was the rate he charges per session.
While he truly believes he deserves the $100 he asks for, and I do too, he has trouble asking people for that much money.
He told me he hates the cringe on their face when they hear he charges $100 per session. As soon as I heard that I knew what the problem was.
So what’s the problem?
When people have a reaction like that it’s because they’re reacting to YOUR body language.
If someone cringes in response to something YOU say it is because of something YOU are doing.
Chances are you yourself are cringing first. Or your tone of voice may have changed from one of confidence to one of self-doubt. So you need to be very wary of two things:
1- When you tell them how much you charge make sure you say it with complete confidence and authority.
If for any reason you give your prospect the sense you aren’t worth the asking price they’ll pick it up sub-consciously and all is lost.
Well, more than likely.
2- Make sure you don’t have any ‘headtrash’ in regards to what people are willing to pay for a service they value.
In other words, if you think people would never pay $100 (or more) per session then why the heck are you charging that much?
The fact of the matter is, people will pay good money for a good service to someone they believe will deliver the results they are paying for, period.

Remember these two sentences for as long as you live

It’s important to know what your competition is up to.
It’s more important that you are doing things different from them.
Why?
Remember these two next sentences for as long as you live:
1- Fitting in is failing
2- Not standing out is the same as being invisible
Make sense?

Ryan Lee is working like a dog today. He’s in the office next to mine so I know.
What’s he doing?
Working on the finishing touches of his new brilliant creation - www.Workout-Pass.com
You DEFINITELY want to see it when it’s launched. It really is revolutionary. And when I tell you it’s really something nobody has ever done before, it’s really never been done before.
Well, it has, but in a completely different industry. And when I tell you a DIFFERENT industry, I mean polar opposite!
It should be pretty obvious when you see it. Just make sure you do

Just thought I’d share this
January 19, 2007 by jim · Leave a Comment
Yesterday one of my FORMER subscribers sent me a not so nice email.
He told me to stop sending him crap and then proceeded to call me an a**hole.
Real professional, right? The unsubscribe directions are on the bottom of every newsletter I send.
Apparently, he couldn’t find them.
The funny thing is, I couldn’t stop smiling when I read it. I only get them once in a blue moon and I always just delete them.
But this time I just smiled and stared at it for quite some time. Then I started laughing my butt off.
I think it’s hysterical. I really do.
And oddly enough I really hope there are some people out there calling you an a**hole, too!
Why?
Because it means you’re making a difference.
It means your voice is being heard. Some might not like what you have to say, but you’re out there for all the world to see.
And that takes courage.
That is the kind of person I want reading my stuff.
Not some loser who would waste a second of his life writing to me to cuss me out.
Have a great weekend!
-Jim
PS- Got this testimonial from the incredibly talented Mike Robertson today. BTW, Mike is about the nicest guy in the fitness industry. It’s an honor to know him.
“I just wanted to give you some initial feedback on the “Fitness Info Mistakes” I purchased last week.
EXCELLENT WORK!
To be honest I kind of jumped into this whole fitness info products thing a**-backwards; I didn’t necessarily have a game plan, but I did have the passion and networking that made things work. I keep thinking what could’ve been if I would’ve actually known what to do in the first place! This would have been a whole lot easier if I’d had your product from the outset.
Regardless, I’m about 1/2 way done thus far and it’s a really great product. Thanks for all the hard work you’ve put in - I can already tell the value that your products are going to bring to my business!”

How to ‘get in’ with corporations
January 15, 2007 by jim · Leave a Comment
How to ‘get in’ with corporations
I’m often asked by fitness pros how they ‘get in’ with corporations.
How they can create a corporate boot camp, a series of seminars or the like.
Well, there are several ways to do it.
But why not just talk about the easiest way?
Why not just ask someone you know?
Why not talk to some of your clients about the best way to get your foot in the door?
Or if you don’t have a client who can help you, why not take the time to find out who can?
Make a list of every person you know and think about where they work.
How much pull do they have there?
Are they the decision makers?
Or can they cut through the red-tape and get you in front of those decision makers right away?
More questions for you:
Why do things the hard way?
Why not use all your connections?
Do you really believe people aren’t going to be willing to help you?
Yet more questions:
What happens when you actually land this corporate gig?
Are you afraid of failure?
Or is it success you fear?
Wouldn’t it be OK if you started with ONE corporate contract and did such a great job wth them they referred you to other companies?
Don’t you think business owners and corporate executives have friends who are business owners and corporate executives?
Don’t you think they talk about things such as the new fitness program that has reduced their health care costs and has their employees feeling great?
I got the idea to write this newsletter from one of my customers who recently wrote me about this very topic:
‘Hey Jim,
Just wanted to let you know your
http://www.howtoprofitwithbootcamps.com kit is SO well done!
I listened to all the audio cd’s and had every one of my questions answered. Furthermore, the cheat sheet that came with it was extremely convenient and effective.
I recently created a proposal to run fitness boot camps for a local corporation. The company leadership absolutely loved it and they have already committed to the goal of running a ‘4-6 week on, 1-2 week off’
boot camp for their employees for the rest of the year!!!
I already had an ‘in’ since I train both of the CEO’s of the company, and I helped one of them to lose 100 lbs. of body fat in a year to the date of the meeting we had.
But the professionalism and ‘attention to details’ approach of your Ultimate Boot Camp Start-Up kit without a doubt sealed the deal and gave me the initial idea to move forward with the proposal.
Since it is a pilot I offered a discounted rate of $99/hour, but still look to make up to $500 per week of pure profit from just this camp alone!!!’
Yours in fitness,
BJ Gaddour, CSCS

Believe me, things are really a lot easier than we make them out to be. I know you can do the same thing BJ has. I know you have successful clients who are successful people.

PS- Oh, yet another SIX-FIGURE boot camp business testimonial for http://www.howtoprofitwithbootcamps.com
‘Jim,
Just wanted to give you a quick heads up on the progress I’ve made with my camps since purchasing your Ultimate Boot Camp Product.
I started in March ‘06 with about 10 people attending. It’s steadily grown over the last 9 months with this month hitting 56 enrolled!!
It was your product that cemented the idea to start my own camps. I had no idea at the time that some initial guidance from the Ultimate BC CD’s and some marketing know how would amount to a such a successful business.
I want to thank you for providing that spark that ignited what this year will be a SIX-FIGURE boot camp business!!’
