Hey,
Carol and I are off to Disney right now - just a 2 hour drive from where I live - to meet up with my sister and her family.
I’m pretty psyched because my nephew and niece will be there. And since they live up in Jersy, I don’t get to see them all that often. Is there anything better than seeing the look in a little kid’s eye at a theme park?
Anyway, I’m going to write more on this tomorrow, but there’s something I really want you to grasp about making your business a whole lot easier.
Go where the people are.
There’s more to it than the obvious.
Again, I’ll explain more tomorrow. Actually, over the next couple days.
Alright, I’m outta here. I’m off to have some fun!

The glaring fitness spotlight
March 27, 2008 by jim · Leave a Comment
I was listening to my friend Pat Rigsby’s presentation during http://FitCommExpo.com when I came up with the topic of today’s newsletter.
Put your clients and campers in the glaring fitness spotlight.
And by that I mean you should interview your success stories for your e-newsletter.
Imagine your prospect reading the answers to questions like these:
Why they started
What they have learned
What’s next for them
SOOO powerful.
Your prospect desperately wants to connect with you on an emotional level.
They want to know there are other men and women who were in the same situation they were.
They want to know they won’t be embarrassed by their lack of fitness and excess weight.
They want to know others just like them have done the work and succeeded.
flirting with disaster movie download
They want to know they will get their moolahs worth.
Interviewing your current clients and campers like a reporter would accomplish all of this.
I have been hearing from more and more and more trainers who are listening to me and my colleagues. The success stories are pouring in.
Please put these tips to use.
They will work.
You will succeed.

..you’d better walk the walk.
I’ve been talking about how powerful video newsletters are for a long time now.
I meant to jump on the bandwagon a long time ago, but things just kept creeping up. Mostly the lousy computer I was banging my head against the wall with.
That computer was dealt a final blow, so to speak.
I explain everything in this “make a long story short” VIDEO newsletter.
Be sure to check it out as there’s a “no brainer” link you’re going to want to click, too.

Entitled to what
March 24, 2008 by jim · Leave a Comment
A person has a dream.
They want to start their own health club.
They risk a great deal.
They make enormous sacrifices.
They deal with attorneys.
They deal with investors.
They deal with every aspect of the business.
They create great systems.
They expand.
They reap the rewards of all their blood, sweat and tears.
They have risked a great deal.
They have been rewarded for it.
A trainer trains clients.
They provide a good service and they are paid for it.
But they do not risk anything.
They do not create further value.
free commando
They can be replaced.
But they feel they are entitled to more from these “greedy” business owners.
They were not there to see the risks taken.
They have not put their butts on the line.
They train members.
They are entitled to a paycheck.
If they want more they can risk more.
Nothing is stopping them from doing so.
Yes, this is a simple story.
But that’s because the message is simple.
If you want more you need to risk more.
Educate yourself and you’ll know which CALCULATED risks to take and which to avoid.
Right now you are earning exactly what you deserve to be earning.
Don’t like it?
Well, what are you willing to do to get what you want?
Still love ya.
Yours in prosperity,
Jim Labadie
PS - http://FitCommExpo.com starts tomorrow. And yes, they are even offering CEUs.
There are over 80 presenters.
There are over 100 sessions.
They will be made available in MP3 format so you can download them and listen to them on your iPod while working out.

This might seem silly to some.
I mean, really, is there anyone who doesn’t know this already?
You can’t sell what you don’t believe in.
Your belief in the service you sell must be concrete.
There can be no doubt in your prospect’s mind.
from within download
If they sense any doubt they’re going to tell you they need to “think about it.”
So maybe you do believe in yourself and the training you provide.
But what about other products or services you offer?
Do you have trouble upselling clients on things that will help them with their efforts?
If you have nothing but confidence in your recommendations then your clients will listen.
Or perhaps you do believe in what you recommend but you just have issues with money.
You have trouble earning a profit off of a recommendation.
You have a deep-rooted belief that money is evil.
You might not be conscious of it, but it’s there.
And it’s keeping you from being as profitbale as you could be.
Oh, and your fear isn’t doing your clients any good either.
Just something to think about.
Don’t worry, I still love ya

“It’s quite possible I’ve got more qualifications than anyone else in my field. Seriously, I’ve got more letters after my name than I have in my name! However, I’m going to let you in on the horrible truth…there is no relationship between being technically good or skilled at what you do and getting paid.
Jim Labadie is THE MASTER and he has solved that problem. The Ultimate Sales Kit for Fitness Professionals is almost as good as having Jim as your own personal sales staff. Within days of listening to the CD’s you’ll have, at the least, doubled your investment.
BOTTOM LINE: If you don’t have this kit in your arsenal, you better pray your competition doesn’t. It’s that powerful.”

Return on Investment
March 18, 2008 by jim · Leave a Comment
David Whitley is a Sr. RKC instructor one of the most respected Kettlebell experts on the planet.
David Whitley is the perfect example of a fitness professional with multiple streams of income.
David Whitley is one of my best customers who has LITERALLY spent thousands of dollars with my business.
Here is a look at his Return on Investment:
Boot camp classes make up about 60% of his total income. They take SIX hours of his time each week.
He also does small group sessions with 1-3 people. These sessions net him from $100-$200 per session.
David performs workshops and rakes in $250-$350 PER PERSON that attends.
Plus, he has multiple passive income streams including:
His own DVD series at http://RenegadeConditioningSecrets.com
(These are amazing)
He has a newsletter list so he is able to make good moolah from affiliate promotions.
Send Out Cards brings in residual income each month.
And of course, he sells Prograde.
David Whitley is part of the Cream of the Crop I wrote about yesterday.
But he isn’t done yet. I’ll bet you dollars to doughnuts he’ll continue to invest in his business education and continue to take things to even higher levels.
You should follow his lead.

PS - David Whitley is living the life of his dreams. Are you?
“Jim,
I want to thank you for all that you have done in helping me move toward living the dream. The house, the boost in income doing what I love, the Sr. RKC promotion, all that has been affected by what you have taught me and my improving ability to visualize and attract.
Thanks so much and I am looking forward to growth for all of us!”

The American Idol Workout

I just can’t help myself.
It’s hard to express how much I love writing these emails.
freshman the movie
I’m often asked where how I come up with all the ideas for them.
Well, everywhere I look I get a new idea. In all seriousness, I could write about a dozen a day.
Anyway, when I saw this last night I knew I had to share it with you.
Yes, I’m one of those freaks who watches American Idol.
And the reason I do is for moments EXACTLY like what happened last night.
It is rare when you can see the EXACT moment a person’s dream come true. But I witnessed it last night. And I immediately knew I would share it with you.
You can see the moment for yourself on You Tube by clicking the link below:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0zGydpqawI
When the singer, David Cook, hears the comments from the judges you literally watch with your own eyes the reaction of a man who has seen his dream come true.
Read that again.
You literally watch with your own eyes the reaction of a man who has seen his dream come true.
And you witness the very instant it happens.
It’s one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen.
It doesn’t matter if you can’t stand the show.
It doesn’t matter if you think I’m nuts for watching.
Just watch the video and you’ll see what I mean.

If you’re not inspired by it, well, you might want to have someone slap the paddles on you and shock your heart back to life.

One thing you MUST do when speaking
March 16, 2008 by jim · Leave a Comment
I’m often asked by trainers how to grow their newsletter list.
Well, one of the easiest ways is to make sure you pass around a sign up sheet during your speaking engagements.
I recommend you do it about half way through your talk. It’s the perfect time because it should get back to by the time the talk ends.
AND they should be completely intrigued by your presentation and more than happy to receive a newsletter for even more of your “look better naked” insights.

McDonald's vs. the Personal Trainer
March 13, 2008 by jim · Leave a Comment
I’m flying to Salt Lake City today for the National Send Out Cards convention. It was an interesting start to the day. My Mercedes - which I normally LOVE - flashes a warning sign about my battery/alternator being on the blink. So, I grab Carol and tell her she’s going to have to drive me to the airport in West Palm. After almost killing us a couple times while talking to one of her clients, she manages to get me to the airport alive.
Next - I’m flying American Airlines and I’ll tell ya, what a cluster you know what the check in process was. One knucklehead in front of me couldn’t find his flight on the self-service e-ticket machine. Know why? Because he was at the wrong freakin’ airline counter!
Anyway, flight was good and we got off on time. The screaming baby behind me did a nice job of piercing my eardrums for a little bit as I read a copy of The Robb Report. Oh, and if you’re in the market for a helicopter to plant on your yacht, well, be sure to pick up this month’s issue.
The real reason I’m writing you: I sit down with my laptop - where I am right now - at DFW in Dallas and I immediately notice and ad for Mickey D’s. There is 6 of them - count ‘em - SIX McDonald’s in this airport alone. Their marketing is everywhere. Does YOUR personal training business ripper 2 letter from within dvd download love song for bobby long a dvd
